‘A NATURAL TENDENCY’
My new poem ‘A Natural Tendency’ has been published by Burning House Press
SOME EXCERPTS FROM ‘DOUBLE ORDERING’ CAN NOW BE READ ON MY BLOG
Double Ordering is an art writing project. It is a collection of various sentences and notes taken by myself during the past ten years from a vast array of books and essays. These sentences have been shoveled, reshaped, horded and moulded together through my own filter in order to form a topology of human perception that might or might not have something to do with who we actually are. The result is a creation which is absurd, incompatable with the course of life, overwhelming, and which has in itself no finality, no limit and no outcome…

ART WRITING THE BODY FESTIVAL – AARHUS 2nd to 6th DECEMBER 2015
I have been commissioned to present two performances at Aarhus Litteratur Center, which since 2013 has worked to examine, visualize and qualify the field of Art Writing nationally and internationally. The long-termed aim is to create a national knowledge center for Art Writing in 2018. We wish to delegate competences and qualities, network, experiences and possibilities, which can contribute to the knowledge centre’s profile and strengthen its identity and distinctive character in the future. Project Art Writing is developing a network and cooperates in Denmark, the North and Europe. The knowledge centre attempts to be established on a creative, interactive, digital archive which can be reached from all over the world and which thereby can consider various languages at the same time.
Project Art Writing has been selected as a ’strategic project’ in connection with the focus on projects with a long-term perspective of The Capital of Culture 2017. It means that we in the years to come has committed to deliver a number of programs is a progressive course which culminates in 2017.
The term ’Art Writing’ covers a genre-hybrid containing a number of heterogenic writing practices, which are in play in the contemporary visual culture. Analytic and poetic text-based art can be understood as modalities of writing – both fictive, critical and theoretical – and at the same time closely in dialogue with the visual aspects: Art Writing relates equally to other forms of artistic and aesthetic practise. The text is experimental and can unfold in combination with for example pictures, form, body, materials, sound, light and space. The written text can both be regarded as medium for art historiography as well as medium for artistic practise.

This site of the former city police station, provides a unique and immersive opportunity to discover work in the former cells, holding areas, exercise yards of this period location.
I will be taking part in this workshop lead by Johanna Linsley, the Live Art Development Agency, Sound and Music and Arts Bournemouth for DIY11.
Stolen Voices is about eavesdropping. It is about listening-in, or the way listening is always positioned in space and in time. It is about overhearing, or the stuff we add to everything we hear – the biases and associations that help us construct identities for those who surround us. Finally, it is about the (often uncomfortably) unstable border between private and public that we all negotiate by existing in common with others. Taking place over one weekend, and alternating between independent fieldwork and group creation, this workshop culminates in an ‘Eavesdropping Cabaret’ – details on this to follow once attendance is confirmed.
PERFORMING POPLAR – 21/07/14
I am doing aperformance at the opening of the new Performance Space.
KNOTS – 06/07/2014
A new writing project presenting a collection of one line poems and aphorisms. Each one of the poem/aphorism in Knots is an event in the making, a nexus of tempos, a cluster of rhythms responding to different influences. Restrained yet precise these poems/aphorisms do not operate, in conflicting frequencies, in distant part of the waveband, but are subject to interference – they are even interferences themselves. They are capsules of intensity that foreground the process of perception taking form.
To order a copy please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
